  1. BENEFITS To make balance check transactions (savings, deposit, giro, financing), account statement check, BSM inter-account transfer; transfer in real time to 83 banks; SKN/RTGS transfer, bill and cellular credit top-up payment, and other transactions.
  2. REQUIREMENTS FOR REGISTRATION
      • A Customer is a company or individual with a savings account or giro.
      • A Customer has read and understands the BSM Net Banking terms and conditions
      • A Customer completes and signs the BSM Net Banking application form.
      • A Customer carries original valid personal identity (ID Card, Driving License, Passport, Temporary Stay Permit), Articles of Association/By-Laws (for companies) and evidence as an account holder.
    REGISTRATION PROCESS
      • A Customer simply come by the nearest BSM Branch.
      • A Customer submits a request for BSM Net Banking service facilities and has the BSM Net Banking application form completed.
      • A Customer displays his/her original valid personal identity.
      • If a Customer has met the requirements as governed by the Bank, the Bank will, for its approval, provide a Key Code to the Customer.
      • A Customer receives a Mailer paper containing a Key Code including a User ID, Password, PIN Authorization and TAN.
      • A Customer signs the receipt of the Mailer paper containing the Key Code and submits the receipt to the Customer Service for activation.
    TERMS AND PROCEDURES
      • Service time: 24 hours a day and 7 days a week
      • A Customer can activate the BSM Net Banking service with access to the internet at: "https://bsmnet.syariahmandiri.co.id" and by entering the BSM Net Banking User-ID and Password.
      • No User ID of the User Customer may be changed.
      • A User Customer will receive TAN with 100 codes which are the combination of a 6-digit numeric code usable at random and 1 (one) time only.
      • At first login, the system will prompt the Customer to change Password and/or PIN Authorization received from Bank with the required Password and/or PIN Authorization.
      • If the Customer is a legal entity, it is advisable to authorize the User ID, Password, PIN Authorization and TAN to two different people or depending on the company’s prevailing discretion.
      • To check and print out balance/account statements, the customer needs User ID & Password only, whereas to make a financial transaction, aside from needing User ID & Password, the customer also needs PIN Authorization and TAN.
      • Any misuse of the BSM Net Banking Key Code shall be the responsibility of the User Customer. The User Customer hereby discharges the Bank from any claims that may arise from both other party and the User Customer him/herself resulting from the misuse of the BSM Net Banking Key Code.
      • A Customer is required to notify the branch immediately in writing in case of receiving incomplete or incorrect data or information.
      • Any errors/mistakes in accessing the BSM Net Banking service address and any losses arising from such errors/mistakes shall be the full responsibility of the Customer and the Customer shall discharge the bank from any claims that may arise from such errors/mistakes.

  5. BI-RTGS TRANSACTION POLICY. The RTGS limited nominal transaction policy by customers per 16 November 16, 2015, as follows:
    1. An inter-bank transaction by a customer made through BI-RTGS system is > Rp500 million.
    2. A transaction through SKNBI is unlimited 
  6. FEATURES AND TRANSACTION FEES.  The BSM Net Banking service feature is a notification email to a receiver (beneficiary’s email). Description:
    1. A Customer can insert the email address of the transfer fund beneficiary in the "receiving email" column so that the information about the successful transaction can be sent directly via email to the transfer fund beneficiary.
    2. Beneficiary’s email fields are in the BSM transfer category menu, online inter-banks, clearing/SKN and RTGS as well as cash transfer (PT POS).
    3. In case of a successful transaction, the system sends a transaction notification to the email of the transfer Beneficiary.

  9. COMPLAINT PROCEDURES In case of trouble with the BSM Net Banking, such as login failure, blocking for entering incorrect Passwords 3 (three) consecutive times or other trouble, customers can contact BSM Call 14040 or just come by the nearest BSM Branch.
  10. ACCESS BLOCKING
    1. Access to the BSM Net Banking services will be blocked by Bank if:
          1. The Customer requests the Bank to block access to the BSM Net Banking services because, among other things, the Customer has closed all the accounts accessible through the BSM Net Banking services.
          2. Misentering BSM Net Banking Password 3 (three) consecutive times.
          3. The Bank complies with the prevailing laws and regulations.
          4. The Bank is aware of and has reason to suspect that a fraud or crime has happened or will happen.
      To reactivate after access blocking, a Customer must re-register with the BSM branch.
  11. TIPS FOR KEEPING CUSTOMER’S TRANSACTIONS SAFE
      • Do not create a Password/PIN Authorization to repeat the User ID characters. Create/change a Password/PIN Authorization periodically.
      • Do not create a Password/PIN Authorization that is easily guessed by anyone, such as a telephone number, birthdate, license plate, or other personal data. A Password should be created in a unique and meaningless combination of numbers. The more random, the better.
      • Do not create a Password/PIN Authorization with a sequence number such as 123456 or a Password/ PIN Authorization which is repeated characters like: 111111.
      • Do not share your User ID & Password, PIN Authorization and TAN (personal identification number) with anyone else, including your significant others, and even the bank.
      • Do not write down your User ID & Password/PIN Authorization/TAN on paper or keep them in writing in a place anyone else can read them, for example: agenda or calendar. Do not write down your User ID & Password/PIN Authorization/ TAN or store them on a computer hard disk, diskette, cellular telephone or other risky objects. It would be advisable for you to remember them without having to write them down.
      • Be mindful of using your User ID & Password for Internet Banking services and prevent them from being visible or read by anyone else.
      • If you use Internet Banking services, prior to entering a User ID & Password, you must always be convinced that the site you are visiting is the correct site. Make sure that the internet banking page you are visiting is owned by Bank Syariah Mandiri, with the text interface: “http://www.syariahmandiri.co.id” in the address field. After you have clicked the login address button, there will be text interface: “https://bsmnet.syariahmandiri.co.id.”
  12. EXAMPLES OF MODUS OPERANDI USED IN TRANSACTIONS
      • Beware of Dangerous ‘Typo Site.’ This typo site modus operandi is quite unique and often takes the victims unawares. What are some ways to do that? A criminal builds a site whose a name is almost much like the official site. For example, an official site with an address at http://anakku.com/ is disguised with http://anaku.com/. Almost indistinguishable.
      • Beware of “Phishing” Scams. Phishing is an attempt to obtain personal information such as User ID & Password, PIN, or bank account number illegally. This information will be used by the phisher to access an account, commit a fraud or direct a customer to transfer to a certain account by enticing the victims with prizes.
      • Beware of “Keylogger.” Keylogger is an application or software that can lock a keyboard keys with the benefits of a specific program logger. Consequently, anything a user types on the monitor screen is recordable. That is to say, even though it is displayed as '*****' when typing a Password in the Password field, the Password characters are recordable and automatically readable. These records will be immediately stored on the computer and sent via the internet to the phisher via an e-mail, IRC (Internet Relay Chat) or even observed you directly on the web in real time.
