Bertahun tahun kami Lembaga Masyarakat Peduli Lingkungan Bandung Barat (LMPL KBB) merintis memperjuangkan untuk menyelamatkan kawasan Gunungmasigit/Gua Pawon. dari ancaman kehancuran lingkungan dengan mengadakan kerjasama kegiatan denga KRCB, GERAKAN WAKAF POHON (GWP) SALMAN ITB. kami tanam pohon dengan harapan adanya perubahan iklim dan lingkungan dikawasan gua pawon dan sekitarnya sehingga terjadi MUSIUM ALAM.
Gua Pawon yang memiliki daya tarik cukup menarik terutama di kalangan para peneliti, dunia pendidikan. Bukan dari dalam negri saja melainkan sampai kepada para peneliti dari Luar Negri. Kerusakan lingkungan sudah sangat parah di daerah karst citatah karena gunung-gunungnya dihancurkan dengan ledakan-ledakan dinamit untuk diambil batunya demi kepentingan kapitalis…. kerusakan tersebut mengakibatkan pohon-pohon hilang sehinggga air hujan tidak dapat terserap kedalam tanah…akibatnya apa ? banjir kalau hulan…. dan kekeringan di kala kemarau…. yuk hijaukan lagi hijaukan lagi dan hijaukan lagi karst citatah…. Seharusnya dana GERHAN dialokasikan ke karst citatah…..

Penataan gua pawon mendesak dilakukan untuk lebih menggali lebih dalam informasi mengenai manusia pra sejarah yang pernah tinggal di gua pawon, sehingga ditemukan missing link antara manusia pra sejarah di gua pawon dengan masyarakat yang sekarang tinggal di sekitarnya..
Lalu di gus pawon harus dibuat gua gua baru yang dibuat dengan pahatan-pahatan tangan trampil penduduk sekitar yang sekarang bergelut di bidang pahatan di wilayah cipatat… hal tersebut akan menjadi perpaduan antara budaya baheula dengan budaya /kreasi maysarakat sekarang…. Perlu political will dari para penguasa dan komitmen yang kuat dari masyarakat pemeduli…

Forum Pemuda peduli Karst Citatah (FP2KC) selalu memproklamasikan slogan “pulihkan Karst Citatah, makmurkan Rakyat”!. Maka melihat kondisi saat ini; dimana lingkungan sudah teramat jelas RUSAK!, warga dininabobokan oleh pekerjaan yg sebenarnya disadari berdampak negatif bagi kehidupannya, kesehatannya, dan kekurangsejahteraannya, dan sosio-budaya yg carutmarut seiring dg ketidakadilan yg terjadi di kawasan tsb. Untuk itu, segala bentuk upaya reklamasi (revegetasi dan rehabilitasi) merupakan pekerjaan yg amat mulia. apalagi dirintis oleh bpk. Deni Alamsyah yang bersentuhan langsung dg proyek pertambangan. Sehingga setiap pihak yg merasa peduli harus benar-benar membuktikan kepeduliaanya di lapangan, melalui kerja-kerja produktif yg bernafaskan penyelamatan karst citatah. Maka program HIJAU DI ZONA STOP TAMBANG adalah komitmen yg harus dilakukan segera, sebelum semua terlambat. Tentunya dengan prosedur dan melanisme yang tepat guna dan tepat sasaran. SALAM KETERJALAN.

Upaya penghentian penambangan yg tdk menghitung dampak sosio-ekonomi dan lingkungan merupakan upaya yg sia-sia. Maka harus ada upaya lanjutan baik oleh pengusaha, maayarakat dan pemerintah untuk kemudian memperlakukan zona pasca tambang sebagai kawasan yang lebih produktif dan ramah thd lingkungan. Sehingga kemakmuran benar-benar dirasakan oleh masyarakat sekitar. Kemakmuran yg tdk hanya dirasakan oleh penggiat penghijauan, tapi dapat bermanfaat bagi lingkungan yang ada di sekitarnya.. Bravo Hijau di zona stop pertambangan.

jadikan eksploitasi pertambangan peledekan dinamit diganti menjadi kawasan yang terlindungi. mulai sekarang kita rubah kawasan tersebut menjadi kawasan zona hijau dengan cara menanam pohon di kawasan tersebut. mari kita jadikan kota bandung menjadi kota bersih dan hijau dengan adanya penanaman ini.

dengan salah program gerakan hijau d zona tambang yd d gagas pa Deni ini,banyak hal positif yg akan kita dpt.Diantaranya bisa menyejukkan kawasan yg gersang ini,bisa menghasilkan sumber air untk daerah sekitar,terjaganya salah satu habitat primata,mengurangi dampak polusi,terpeliharanya slh satu situs arkeologi n Geologi peninggalan zaman pra sejarah/fosil manusia purba,coral ( kerang laut n hewan laut) dari masa lampau..menciptakan masyarakat yg sadar akan lingkungan,trbentuknya satu budaya baru (budaya wisata)yg tdk menutup kmungkinan akan dpt mmunculkan ksenian n kebudayaan2 buhun..n banyak hal positif lainnya yg tdk bisa dsebutkan satu persatu,,”Alam Lestari Hidup Tak Bakal Berhenti”,,Salam lestari….
